He cycled around the world through Germany, Czech Republic, Slowakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Tibet, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, and the USA. He is the author of two novelles published in one book in Dutch, based on the stories The Freedom of Truth and Master Mind. He's also the author of the Webblogged columns Daddy Said, which aims to solve the world's major problems in 52 episodes in 2009. He is together with Spanky the Monkey the horoscopologist for AWOL, a Hua Hin, Thailand, based newspaper. He also has a house for sale in Thailand, in the area Bang Poo in Samut Prakarn province.
